Insert another document¶

Insert Document puts one FundaCAD document into another, for a part that has to fit around something you modelled earlier.

Append copies the shape in once. Link copies it too, but remembers the file, so you can update it when the original changes. What arrives is a finished body without its steps.

If the original has changed, opening the document shows an Update button. Unlink keeps the shape and cuts the connection.
