Printability¶

Printability goes through the model and lists what is likely to go wrong. It comes with the 3D Printing Toolbox plugin, under Print on the rail.

Select the bodies to check, or none for all of them, and set Nozzle, Layer and how strict to be. It looks for Overhangs, Thin walls, Gaps, Bridges and Open shells, and you can switch each off.

Press Check. Findings are listed per body and tinted in the view. Hover a line to see its face, and click it to turn the view there. The check is a guide, so your slicer has the last word.
