Joint and mechanism¶
Joint fits one body against another, and Mechanism builds a linkage of moving parts.
For a joint, click a face on the body that moves, then the face it mates to. Both faces are remembered, so changing either part carries the joined body along. An arrow slides the body and a dial turns it.
For a mechanism, choose the body that stays fixed, then add joints one at a time as Revolute, Slider or Rigid. Finally choose the joint the drive moves and turn it with a handle or a typed value.
