Dimensions¶

A dimension is a constraint with a number in it, such as a length of 40 mm.

Press D, click a line or circle, type the value and press Enter. Click two things for the distance between them. Double-click a number to change it later.

Driven (reference) in the right-click menu turns a dimension into a plain measurement that cannot be edited. A dimension also takes a parameter name or an expression such as width / 2, which the parameters page explains.
